About Subbie Store

Subbie Store sells workwear, safety footwear and PPE to the trades. We are based in Farsley, on the western edge of Leeds, and we supply sole traders, subcontractors, site teams and the firms who kit them out.

What we stock

We carry the full Portwest range alongside Base Protection footwear, which between them cover most of what a site actually needs: hi-vis, flame-retardant and arc-flash clothing, safety boots and trainers, gloves, eye and hearing protection, wet-weather gear and site accessories.

Everything is listed with the standards it is certified to, because on a controlled site the standard is the thing that matters and a photograph is not. Where a garment carries EN ISO 20471 or EN ISO 11612, you can search and filter on it.

Who we sell to

Anybody. There is no minimum order and no account needed to buy — a card at the checkout is enough.

If you buy regularly, a trade account gives you agreed payment terms and a monthly statement instead of paying per order. We also add your logo to garments if you want your team turned out in something with your name on it.
