Cookies
This page explains what we store on your device when you use this shop, and what you can do about it.
Some of it is needed to make the shop work at all — your basket has to be remembered from one page to the next, and the checkout has to remember what you typed on the previous step. The rest is optional, and we ask before we use it.
What you can turn off
The only optional thing is analytics: counting page views, measuring how quickly pages load, and grouping the searches from one visit together so we can see where a search went wrong. It tells us which parts of the shop are worth fixing.
We ask before any of it runs. If you say no, none of it runs, and the shop works exactly as it did before — nothing is withheld and nothing is worse.
What you cannot turn off
Everything else here is needed for something you have asked for: adding to a basket, choosing whether prices show with or without VAT, starting a checkout, signing in, or paying. Without it those things do not work, so there is no honest choice to offer.
Two of them are set by companies we use rather than by us — the one that keeps you signed in, and the two the payment step uses to spot card fraud. They are listed below with the rest.
Changing your mind
Use the control at the foot of this page. It clears your answer and asks again, and you can change it as often as you like.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser's own settings. Every browser has them, usually under Privacy. Blocking everything will stop the basket and the checkout working, which is what the section above is about.
